"Robert and Marian take a day-trip in order to pick up a painting he's bought from a rural artist. Forced to stay overnight when the artist is a no-show, the two circumnavigate the unspoken tensions in a relationship that is platonic, or at least has been, so far. Daniel Laabs' first film, made while he was still a university student, is a delicately evocative drama that debuted at the Dallas International Film Festival."
